The Invisible way to Straighten Teeth

Invisalign straightens your teeth using a series of clear, custom-made, removable appliances called Aligners. It’s virtually undetectable, which means hardly anyone will know that you are straightening your teeth. You can still eat and drink what you want; you can brush and floss normally to maintain healthy gums and teeth; and there are no wires, metal or brackets to cause mouth abrasions.

Many of our patients had never considered traditional braces but are now happily and comfortably improving their smiles with Invisalign.

How does Invisalign work to straighten my teeth?

The Invisalign System combines advanced 3-D computer graphics technology and the science of orthodontics. Invisalign Aligners are designed to move your teeth in small steps to the desired final position prescribed by your orthodontist. Each Aligner is precisely calibrated and manufactured to fit your mouth at each stage of the treatment plan. The average Invisalign treatment can take from 6-15 months, depending on the number of Aligners needed to achieve the desired results.

Who can benefit from Invisalign?

Adults and teenagers who have teeth:

  • that are too crowded.
  • with spaces between them.
  • with narrow arches.
  • that may have shifted after having worn braces.

The first step is to visit our office so Dr. Alborzi can determine if Invisalign is right for you.

What do I have to do once I start Invisalign treatment?

Wear each Aligner all day and night and only take them out to eat, brush and floss. (The average number of aligners needed is between 18 and 30, but many of our patients need fewer aligners.)

Visit our office every 6-10 weeks.

Replace your Aligners about every two weeks with the next Aligner in the series.

Your teeth will begin to move gradually -- week by week until the final alignment Dr. Alborzi prescribed is attained.

Soon, you'll be smiling like you never have before!

To ensure the best possible results, only an orthodontist who has been trained and certified by Align Technology can diagnose and treat using Invisalign. Invisalign is not intended for children who are still waiting for permanent teeth and is not appropriate for every adult. Only an orthodontist can determine if this is an effective treatment option for you.
